SICET 2006 Convention
 The SICET Annual International Convention will be held between October 11th-14th, 2006 at the Fairmont Hotel right next to the Historic Arts District in Dallas, Texas. As one of the affiliates of AECT, SICET convention theme will be in conformity with AECT's - Strengthening Connections. Supporting the main theme are four sub-themes related to making stronger connections:
(1) Between theory and practice,
(2) Between new technologies and educational goals,
(3) Between researchers around the globe; and
(4) Between new professionals and more experienced colleagues.
There are several innovative types of sessions added to 2006 convention Blog Tracks, P@Ds, and Featured Research Papers.
You are invited to sttend our SICET International Convention to share your experiences, expertise and knowledge with international scholars in the field of educational technology. The mission of the SICET is to establish and strengthen academic international connections, exchanges, researches and studies in educational technology for teaching and learning, as well as to promote the application of educational technology in Chinese education. The purpose of our convention is to improve the quality of academic research, to promote techonology integration in education, to help those new to this field, and more importantly to enhance the strong connections and relationships between China and US scholars.
