The Joint AECT/SICET Membership

Join SICET Membership

SICET memberships include regular members and student members as specified below. For regular memberships, you can choose to register for one year, two years, or three years. You will receive discount membership fees for two-year and three-year memberships. It will be very easy for you to renew your membership even if you choose to be a one year member. To join in SICET membership, you need to fill in the application form online and pay your membership fee to the SICET Treasurer. You will be able to start enjoying your membership benefits.

Join AECT/SICET Membership

With a joint AECT/SICET membership, the member holds an electronic AECT membership. The joint AECT/SICET members have an access to the AECT members’ web pages and the online versions of both TechTrends and ETR&D, enjoy discount at AECT annual conferences, and other benefits. In addition, these members receive a 50% discount (for both regular and student members) for AECT membership. The AECT membership fees for these members are as follows:

• Regular 1-Year AECT membership: USD $62.5
• Student 1-Year AECT membership: USD $37.5

You have to be an active SICET member before you get the dual membership from AECT at the discount rate. After you join in SICET, you can apply for your dual AECT membership online at: http://www.aect.org/Affiliates/Membership/affiliate.asp.

• To create a new AECT Affiliate membership, one will use the URL above for online credit card transactions. The password and User ID will be delivered by the SICET treasure to the members allowing the option to join AECT at the discounted rate.
• Renewals of an exist AECT membership can be done at: http://www.aect.org/default.asp. Login in the site with your current ID and password and click Renew membership button. You will get the discount rate as well. However, you have to renew your SICET membership before you are able to renew AECT membership at the discount rate.

Membership Fee for members outside of Mainland China (Check payable to SICET):

• Regular 1-Year membership of SICET only: USD $30
• Student 1-Year membership of SICET only: USD $15
• Regular 2-Year membership of SICET: USD $50
• Regular 3 -Year membership of SICET: USD $70
